Carolina Vallejo ONE WORLD RECORDS
Producer & Executive Producer at One World Records. A keen listener, told by musicians she thinks like a musician, with precise ideas for instrumentation and groove. She has often been asked to the studios to give her advices and suggestions. So far she has co-produced and released Makadem´s latest album 'Koko Rio' and Sekou Kouyate´s solo album 'Sabaru', both nominated and awarded with several awards. Vallejo recorded & produced the Malian Kamale N'Goni player Harouna Samake's first solo album 'Kamale Blues', encouraged by Salif Keita. 'Kamale Blues' was recorded and produced at Sama Studios in Bamako and released on One World Records 2018. Vallejo has co-produced 2 albums by the Cuban trumpet player Yuliesky Gonzalez, Cubanaché & Kind of Cuban, released during 2020 and 2022. Vallejo did the post co-production of acclaimed album by Nigerian artist Adédèji 'Yoruba Odyssey' released 2022, that went straight to TOP 10 on World Music Charts Europe, TOP 10 on Transglobal World Music Chart and SONGLINES "TOP OF THE WORLD" 2022. This was the beginning of the collaboration with Tom Leader (former part of World Circuit), who will master all future albums of One World Records.
In 2023 One World Records will be opening a studio in Lisbon with former Quincy Jones engenier and producer Celso Rangel, 4Side Music (Michael Jackson, Paul Simon,Sting).
Richard Plougmann JUICY HALFTONE´S STUDIO A Dedicated Sound Engineer and owner of the top equipped JUICY HALFTONE´S STUDIO A in Copenhagen has collaborated with One World recording, mixing and mastering. Richard co-produced the Award nominated album 'Koko Rio' with Carolina Vallejo, and recorded, mixed and mastered Sekou Kouyate´s 'Sabaru'. in 2019, Carolina made a production for a German Big band together with Salif Keita, recorded by Richard Ploughman at Moffou Studio in Bamako.
Francis Kweku Osei GROOVE HOUSE RECORDING STUDIOS Acclaimed drumer,
producer and owner of the Accra based GROOVE HOUSE RECORDING STUDIOS has played all the drums on 'Koko Rio' in Copenhagen, and added bass and keys in the studio in Accra, played by his cousins Gaddiel and Carl Amoah, who are all experienced studio musicians. Francis also recorded drums and keys in Accra, on one of the songs on Sekou Kouyate´s album 'Sabaru'.
New label founded in 2015, producing and recording, international releases. Distribution in collaboration with Discovery Records UK, Xango Music & Border Music Scandinavia. One World Records also distributes digitally through iTunes and streaming. Digital distribution world wide.
